FIA Code of Practice
Charing Cross Sports Club has been awarded the Fitness Industry Association’s (FIA) Code of Practice. The code is designed to ensure a high level of practice in its operations, ensuring the health and wellbeing of its members and staff.
The Code is externally audited by Right Directions, drawing on its specialist knowledge of the Industry.
Our compliance with the Code communicates our commitment to standards, quality and customer welfare. It is an important statement to the government and other regulatory bodies that the health and fitness industry is committed in its operation and duty of care.
Areas covered within the Code of Practice include: gym equipment/operations, dance/aerobic studio, indoor swimming pool, group exercise, customer care, staff training and health and safety laws.
